Terms of service

By accessing or using the local / assets platform at local-assets.com (the "Service"), operated by local / assets LTD ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

local / assets LTD provides a media asset management and distribution platform for live events, venues, and content creators. The Service includes video capture, asset storage, processing pipelines, and distribution to third-party platforms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@local-assets.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Accounts are provisioned per-venue and access is controlled by local / assets LTD. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access at any time for violation of these Terms.

You retain ownership of all media assets you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant local / assets LTD a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and deliver that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and distribute your content, including any music, performances, or third-party material.

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including YouTube and SoundCloud. By connecting these integrations, you authorise local / assets LTD to act on your behalf via their respective APIs. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms of service.

The Service uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel or using the Service's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's use of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and how we handle YouTube data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Data Processing

Your media assets are processed and stored by Mux, Inc. on our behalf. By using the Service you acknowledge this processing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, local / assets LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

The local / assets platform, branding, and all software are the exclusive property of local / assets LTD. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, logos, or trade names.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and we will retain your data for up to 30 days before permanent deletion, unless otherwise required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above when changes are made, and for significant changes we will ask you to agree to the updated Terms the next time you sign in.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
